The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA)

PHTA Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO):
The CPO certification is one of the most widely recognized certifications in the pool industry. It covers essential topics such as water chemistry, pool circulation, filtration, and basic pool maintenance. Individuals with a CPO certification are well-versed in the fundamentals of pool and spa operations.

PHTA Certified Pool & Spa Inspector (CPI):
The CPI certification is for individuals specializing in pool and spa inspections. It covers the evaluation of pool and spa components, safety considerations, and compliance with industry standards. CPI-certified inspectors are trained to assess the overall condition of pools and spas.


PHTA Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS):
The CMS certification is designed for individuals with hands-on experience in pool and spa maintenance. PHTA Certified Service Technician (CST):
