Based on the corrected breakpoint chlorination ratio explained in Episode 13, not the industry standard 10X rule.

Why This Number Is Different

The 10X rule came from a unit conversion error, applying an ammonia to chlorine ratio measured in one unit system directly to a combined chlorine reading measured in a completely different one. The real relationship, corrected for that error, requires between half a time and one full time your CC reading for a standard case, or two to three times your CC reading if urea is involved.

Full explanation, including how to tell which case you actually have, is in Episode 13 of the podcast.
